Psalm 37:4-6 New International Version (NIV)
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.
O, Lord, it is you that I desire. I desire your presence. I desire to see more of you. Please make yourself known to me. Shine your light upon me.
I desire to walk this world with you. I desire you alone. I desire to be used by you. Only you, make it all possible.
I lost my heart that past day. I lost my innocence. My inner child was stolen. You’ve been holding me in your arms, every day. I’m more than my darkest moments.
My scars were too much for me to bear. The hurt and the pain I could not face. But together with you, they will only be scars. You do not define by my past. You are showing me your love and my heart is beginning to open.
I am Yours! I commit myself to you. Open the eyes of my heart. I want to see you. I want to seek you. Please come inside and restore me. I can feel you working on me. I want to know you.
I want to see you high and lifted up. Shining at the light of your glory. I want to see you being praised while I bow down before you at your feet. Where only joyful tears will come. Surrounded by your presence and love with a million angels singing out… Holy are you, Lord, God Almighty.
I want to dwell in you, Father. To dwell in your love, in the house of the Lord, forever. Looking forward to the day of our wedding feast together. Together with you, Christ Jesus, your Spirit, and all those in your kingdom. May your Kingdom come…
